One of my ps3 games goes only to a black screen!?

I was playing this game yesterday but today i wake up and find out it wont load! it will only take me to a black screen! also the game was downloaded from the playstation store so i dont know if that makes any difference but all my other games work fine! I have other downloaded games but they all work! any help?

Hello everybody.
I'm having real problems with my above console. When playing PS1 games downloaded from PSN store its coming up with do you wish to quit the game automatically. I've had the console for 4 years now. Do I take it to my local cash converters store who are quite happy to take it from me and use the funds to buy an up to date psp? Or can anybody help me with the above screen message?

In discussion with my dad I've now decided after my vacations I'm going to take it in to my local Cash Converters store for cash then use the funds for a more up to date version. Apart from the PSP Go does anybody recommend the 3000 version?

ok today i was playing my ps3 and it was running fine, then i went to have lunch, and left my ps3 on red stanby light, few hours later i came back after having a break, and then i turned on my ps3 by touching the red button, it turned on fine, but i must have pressed it twice accidently, then it asked me if i wanted to change my ps3 video settings like 1080p, it said "detected hdmi cable" but a few hours ago it was fine, can anyone please help me what this problem is? im playing on 26 inch lcd t.v, 40gb fat ps3, thanks

How can I make this DVD be able to play its game on my PS2?

Here's the deal.
1. I downloaded an MDF image file for a game that is normally only played on the PS2. However: I have an emulator on my computer (allows you to play PS2 games on your computer if you have the game's image file or a disk that the file is on, in this case the MDF) so I can play it on there. That in itself is no problem, except that the frame rate is very low so I cannot play without it being uber slow. Cutscenes that should take a minute are like 5 minutes.

2. I assume being able to play the game on the PS2 will cure the low FPS. I'm not exactly sure how to do the process. I have to make my DVD 'readable' so the PS2 can see what it is and boot it.. but I'm not sure what that format is, or how to get it in that exact format. I think Alcohol 120 (an image burning program) may be able to do the job,because on Wikipedia it says it can " create images from PlayStation and PlayStation 2 file systems." Doesn't say exactly how to do it though. So if someone could tell me how to be able to put this DVD of mine into my PS2 and play the game and it works, 10 points.

I can not seem to remember the name of it though. My friend and I used to fight about who got to play the dog, since he was the only character that could fly.

I have a 60GB playstation, the memory is at about 15 GB. And I don't even have that much space taken, Playstation software (updates etc) can't take 20GB?? So would it be good if I back up my PS3 and then format it?

How do I get rid from a Phobia of speeds? (I need HELP PLEASE)!?!?

Hi,
I have a Phobia from speeds, meaning that I'm not like scared from speeds, it's just that whenever I just get behind the wheel of a car, or whether I'm a passenger, even if the car moves at 30 mph, I'm sometimes just forced to move my head (and sight) away from the road view (to the left or right). I'm taking driving lessons right now (I'm 18), and I'm sometimes experiencing that at the beginning of the lesson, and than it usually goes away as I get used to the speed. But than on another day, it comes back again. I'm drinking 5 hour energy drinks, simulating it on my PlayStation 3, etc. But this year I just can't get rid of this. That stuff I'm doing to prevent this works for some time, but not permanently.

Can you guys please help me get rid of this Permanently?
Because if this happens while I'll be driving on my own, I may surly crash into something. And that's Dangerous.

It's not an anxiety attack, I'm sure of that. I'm calm when that happens. Only that I move my face/head/sight from the road, because of the speedy thing.
The only thing I'm afraid of is that I can crash into something or someone when that happens.
So how do I get rid of this, please help!

my mom works at the WIC here in california works from 8 to 6. and my stepdad has a thousand health problems and he is overweight and doesnt work but somehow he is only like 2 or 3 years older than my mom which is really wierd because he looks really old and with his health problems i just assumed he was like 80 or something. anyways my mom gets lazy sometimes and she will pile the dishes on me sometimes and thats ok i dont have a problem with that but my stepdad does NOTHING sometimes he will go work on people's cars and make some money but he doesnt have a actual job. last week all week my nana was visiting and she likes to take care of the house for us like give us a break because she lives alone and she doesnt have anyone to clean up after and she said she likes to do that for us. and this week my mom has been making me do the dishes everyday, for example i come home from school eat something and i stay in my room and do my homework and study until my mom comes home and im getting tired of doing the dishes everyday and i told her and she was like well i need you to help me because we work and make money for the house theres nothing wrong with you helping out in the house and i said i understand that but i dont want to do the dishes everyday! im tired too i go to school just like you go to work and that there is nothing wrong if i help around the house but i not every single day i wouldnt mind doing something every other day. and we made a chore schedule a couple of months ago and im almost the only one who stuck to it and then we forgot about the schedule and it got thrown away or something happened to it. anyways i told her that she could do the dishes too and my stepdad does nothing and she told me that he works and tries to make money for us and i told her that he doesnt do it everyday he does it once in a while and im not trying to be mean but literally every day he gets up at 11 or 12 in the morning, showers, goes to his sisters house to eat breakfast, comes home and sits on the playstation all day until he has to pick me and my brother up from school and then he comes home and sits on the playstation until mom comes home and makes dinner and then he watches TV and then he goes to sleep


am i over exaggerating about this?
